WELCOME!

I am SO excited to have you here. This course was designed to teach you practical, actionable tools to master the art of blood sugar regulation for better energy levels, optimal hormone balance, and increased sports performance. You will also learn the "why" behind the physiology of blood sugar balance, and how it relates to so many other systems in the body (hormones, mood, cognition, and so much more). Additionally, we will tackle other ways to set your body up for success for optimal blood sugar stability, beyond just the food on your plate!

Edit from video: this program is 5 weeks long! Additionally, since this is a women's only round, disregard the mention of "male" hormones :).

My approach to blood sugar balance is extremely comprehensive. By the end of this program you will:

  • Master meal composition & portioning strategies in a way that feels good & sustainable (that does not have to involve calorie counting)

  • Understand how to leverage certain types of carbohydrates as well as other macronutrients to achieve the glycemic response you desire

  • Have a toolkit full of strategies to improve your gut microbiome & digestion (which has a huge impact on your body's ability to regulate blood sugar)

  • Master meal timing (both in every day life and around your workouts) for more energy and less bonking

  • Understand the intimate connection between your hormones and blood sugar, and how to optimize BOTH to help the other.

  • Gain practical tools to manage stress (both psychological and physical) for more favorable metabolic outcomes.

  • Have access to specialty, deep dive topics & strategies on blood sugar regulation to further customize YOUR unique approach to reach your goals (Continuous Glucose Monitoring, other testing considerations, supplementation options, and more).

Each week, for the next 5 weeks, you will receive access to a new module. Each module will contain some combination of videos, audio lectures, written content to read, and cheat sheets/ helpful handouts to download.

This week you have access to the Welcome Module (what you are in right now), Module 1: Blood Sugar 101, as well as the Continuous Glucose Monitoring module. For those of you who are utilizing CGM's throughout the program, you are going to want to watch the CGM lecture this week so you know what to expect in regards to applying & setting up your CGM, as well as monitoring your values.

Feel free to go through each module at your own pace each week: this course was designed with different learning styles in mind, so I hope you will find benefit in absorbing information in a variety of ways!
